Our Story

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands lies Sunfield Home Howick, one of the largest private Homes for intellectually impaired adults in South Africa. Our mission is to provide a caring and home-like environment for life. Sunfield Home is a registered NPO and has been a loving home for intellectually impaired adults for over 65 years.

Our Home

Sunfield Home is situated on 22 hectares of sloping hillside in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Our residents enjoy beautifully grassed areas shaded by large trees, which are maintained by our committed Estate staff.

We have several sports facilities where our residents can participate in soccer, soft ball, swimming, games and more.

There is a heated swimming pool, two bocce courts, as well as a putt-putt course, which the residents can enjoy.
