The past year has flown by as our team worked tirelessly to keep Sunfield thriving seamlessly. Now in my third year as General Manager, much of my focus has centred on the Schafer development and our broader capital projects.

Our purpose remains to provide a caring home where people with intellectual disabilities are valued, supported, and able to participate in meaningful activities. Guided by our Christian values, the Board must keep residents’ dignity, wellbeing, and individual needs at the center of its decisions.

Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a complex genetic condition that can affect appetite, development, learning, behaviour, emotions and physical health. While every person with PWS is different, many adults need ongoing support to stay healthy, safe and engaged in everyday life.
At Sunfield, we understand that supporting an intellectually impaired adult is about much more than providing a place to live. It is about creating a home where a person can feel safe, included, valued and able to participate in the community.
